Friends of Finchley Catholic High School

Our Aims

2010 marked the 30th Anniversary of the death of Canon Clement 'Pop' Parsons, the Founder of our School, and it was to honour his legacy that we established this new organisation.

Whether you are a former pupil or teacher, a parent, or a member of the Albanian Football Club, you are all part of the Finchley Catholic High School community.

The Friends of Finchley Catholic High School has been established so that the distinct elements of the school community can come together under one umbrella to pursue objectives which are in our shared interest, and have asked recently-retired Headteacher Kevin Hoare to serve as Honorary President of the Friends and lead these efforts.

The Friends originally focused their efforts on the transformation of the changing facilities at the Southover Playing Fields for use by the school teams and Albanian FC; and the renovation of the Albanian Clubhouse in Summers Lane.

We have now joined the school in focusing our attention on raising funds for the proposed new Sixth Form Centre on the site of the old Bampfield Music House.
